It's Sunday morning and it's my vacation day . Going to the airport from Kolwezi to Lubumbashi , I just can't help the excitement that finally I will get the chance again to stay in a hotel and get my body jumping on a king size bed ..Yipee..

Basically I get to stay in this hotel every time I will leave for my scheduled vacation every 84 days. To reach the hotel from my workplace is an hour by charter plane . One good thing though is my company paid for the room and of course my unlimited dine-in buffet . No diet for me whenever I stay in this place.
Owned by Lonrho's Hotel Group.Grand Karavia is situated in secure landscaped gardens beside a lake and it offers five star accomodation combined with restaurants , bars , internet access and conference facilities as well as health club , swimming pool and sports facilities.

The hotel opened June of 2010 and caters to different nationalities with its 197 rooms and the only international standard accommodation in Lubumbashi.
For my personal experience staying in Karavia. I was given Room. 438 which is obviously in the 4th floor of the building. I am assisted by one of their staff ( na mukhang magician ang outfit ) hehe...but absolutely courteous , and accommodating to my needs.

I arrived at the hotel 6 pm just in time for dinner . Checked in at my room took shower and went down to the hotel restaurant afterwards.

It's almost 7 in the evening, time to relieve my hunger so went downstairs for dinner.The La Bonne Table restaurant offers a wide variety of choices from asian , western to african cuisines.

After the delightful dinner , its time for some rest since I have to wake up early the next day for my transfer to the Luano International Airport which is a 20 minutes drive.
Monday morning and i geared up for my long travel imagine from one continent to another. However, before indulging myself on a long journey , I better leave the hotel with full tummy and what's more good than taking a heavy breakfast right ? :)..
Before you reach the La Bonne Restaurant you will find these tables and chairs beautifully designed and very comfortable. Actually I want my living room to look like any of these ..Soon

The hotel also provides a spa where you can get a massage for 50USD and a facial for 40USD but didn't try it because I don't like to spend that much dollars for a 1 hour massage. Why pay when you can have it for free with Tiyu Ato.

At half past 9 in the morning . Our transport arrives and went direct from hotel to the airport which is my first stop to my journey back to my hometown in the Philippines.
Grand Karavia Hotel always provides the best comfort. It's a home away from home.
